Barrio 717

Freelance Project

Barrio 717’s goal is to support, connect, and create spaces that celebrate the Latino community in the Lancaster Area. We partner with other Latino organizations, businesses, and creatives.

As co-founder and art director of Barrio 717, I am responsible for creating the brand’s guidelines, visual identity, and marketing for the business. I am also responsible for coordinating all visual and creative elements of the brand and managing any creatives we work with to ensure visual consistency.

Barrio 717’s logo and art direction are inspired by Mexican rótulos, hand-painted signs that are ubiquitous throughout Mexico. Below are some graphics I have made for Barrio 717.
