About

Addvent is a project of Colab XYZ, that aims create beautifully illustrated guides to connect people with more meaningful adventures. With offices in Lititz, PA, and Milan, Italy they partner with illustrators, writers, and designers to develop artfully illustrated guides. My role on the project consisted of laying out and managing all illustrator files for the posters and postcards, building and managing the Shopify stores for both Milan and Lititz teams, making mockups of the products, and building the Addvent App prototype using bubble.io.

Problem Statement

Addvent wanted to expand into the US and they needed to make an entirely new set of products centered around the American audience. This came with issues of having to make the products meet American printing standards, and needing to create a new e-commerce website to separate US products from Italian products. In addition they wanted to create a prototype of their Addvent app.

Solution

As part of the US Addvent team, I laid out all the guides, made product mockups, and created the printing standards and formatting for the US products. I created a backend management system to ensure files were easy to access and find as our product catalog grew. I created a US Shopify website that I managed along with assisting in managing the Italy team’s website. We met with local printers to develop the products and did product reviews for quality assurance.

Working with the Italy team we started made a prototype of the Addvent app. The app allows you to create an account and save guides that you can check off as you complete them. The app has guides from both US and Italy teams and has a language selector for Italian and English.
