The Log Cabin Restaurant is a restaurant in Leola, PA. It has been a staple of Lancaster county fine dining since it opened in 1933. With a rich history of being originally used as a speakeasy in the days of prohibition.

In 2022 the Log Cabin Restaurant went through a rebranding and needed to update their digital branding to reflect their new brand identity. While working at Colab XYZ my role in this project was to redesign their website to match their new brand identity, make it mobile-friendly and improve SEO. I also managed and monitored their social media accounts.

Problem Statement

The Log Cabin Restaurant was going through a rebrand to modernize the historic restaurant and needed help bring their website up to date with the new brand identity. This required creating a website that matched the elegance of the Log Cabin and was mobile friendly unlike the current one they had at the time. They also wanted to have the history of the Log Cabin be displayed across the website.

Solution

At Colab XYZ, I worked with The Log Cabin Restaurant to create the new website. Implementing the rich luxurious colors of the restaurant into the web design. Adding imagery that fit the style and look of the restaurant, and added sections like the galleries page where we highlighted the restaurant’s 12 dining rooms, their three floors of historic, modern, and local art, and events section where guest could see their weekly events and musical guests. The result was a website that is mobile friendly, responsive, modern, and perfectly matched the new look of The Log Cabin.
