L’Italia Festival is the 1st Annual Italian Festival of Lititz, PA, presented by the Keystone Italian Project. The focus of the festival is to share and celebrate Italian culture and cuisine. While working at Colab XYZ we were tasked with creating all the physical and digital material for the first ever L’Italia Festival. I was responsible for building the event website, doing digital marketing, designing and laser cutting the Lititz euro, and event branding.

Problem Statement

L’Italia Festival needed help branding their new annual festival. With it being the first year of the festival they wanted to make sure that they were able to market the new festival effectively and for all marketing material to be cohesive and recognizable. They reached out to the Colab XYZ team to design the branding, marketing, and to build out the event website.

Solution

At Colab XYZ we worked with the event planners to create the branding and marketing materials for the event. We were inspired by the colors of national Italian football team to come up with the color branding of the event, we focused on the rich blue as the primary color due to how eye catching it was. We designed the logo of the event to be symbolic of Italians cultural pride and bringing a piece of Italian culture no matter where you go.

We created event posters, flyers, signs and other marketing material to promote the event. We also designed and made the Lititz Euro to create a more immersive experience. The Litiz Euro are tokens that can be bought before or the day of the event to be used like cash at any craft or food vendor.

The website was designed with a focus on highlighting the event and making sure any questions that people had about this new event would be easily answered. We created a website that matched the vision and messaging that Keystone Italian Project wanted.

The event was a success and are celebrating their 5th annual event next year.
